VIRTUAL
High Desert
Rendezvous

The High Desert Museum's annual fundraiser, High Desert Rendezvous, was held Saturday, August 28, 2021. While the live program has concluded, there is still the opportunity to view the entertaining program, and help us reach our gross goal of $400,000.

Art in the West exhibition and auction are still happening and can be viewed
HERE
or in-person at the High Desert Museum until October 16, 2021.

If you have questions, please contact us at hdr@highdesertmuseum.org or 541-382-4754 x 284.

What was the High Desert Rendezvous program like ?

This year, we hosted another entertaining virtual program and celebration of the Museum's mission to preserve and educate the public about the natural and cultural history of North America's High Desert region.

The 2021 Rendezvous Honorees are Merritt and Heather Paulson, supporters of the High Desert Museum since 2016. Merritt is the owner and chief executive officer of the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer, Portland Thorns FC of the National Women's Soccer League and T2 (Portland Timbers 2) of the United Soccer League. Heather serves as the Vice President, Connected Marketplace for Nike. She also leads the New Commerce + Pure Play partners globally to shape Nike's digital marketplace. We are deeply grateful to the Paulsons for their commitment to the Museum's mission.

Also featuring special guests:  Terri, Robert and Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell of Crikey! It's the Irwins!; actor Rainn Wilson, best known for the role of Dwight Schrute on NBC's The Office; and musicians Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini and Hunter Noack of In a Landscape: Classical Music in the Wild.
